We Are Not the
Cheapest. Here Is
Why That Matters.
We know you can find cheaper IT. What you will not find elsewhere is the security, the strategy, the accountability, and the genuine partnership we bring. This page is honest about what we cost — and what you actually get.
We Are Not the Cheapest IT Provider. That Is Deliberate.
We know there are providers who will do it for less. Some will quote $50/user/month. Some even less. And if price is your only filter, this is not the right page for you — and we are probably not the right provider.
But if you have ever experienced an IT failure that cost you clients, a security incident that cost you weeks, or a provider who just never picked up the phone — then you already know what cheap IT actually costs.
What we offer is fundamentally different to a provider keeping the lights on. Day and night different. We build technology platforms. We lead on security. We give strategic advice. We manage your vendors. We know your environment inside out. And we are accountable when something goes wrong.
That is not a premium. That is just what proper managed IT looks like.
"The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten."
— Benjamin Franklin
It Is Not About What We Offer. It Is About What You Actually Need.
Every IT provider will tell you they do updates, patch management, antivirus, backups. That is table stakes. That is the baseline every competent IT provider should be doing — it should not even be a talking point.
What actually matters is understanding your business. How many staff? How do you communicate with clients? What does downtime actually cost you? Do you handle sensitive data? What are your compliance obligations? Where do you want to be in two years?
The answers to those questions determine what you need — not a price list.
We do not believe in quoting from a menu. We believe in understanding your environment first, then building a proposal that actually fits. Extended hours support? Not every business needs it. 24/7 monitoring? Depends entirely on your risk profile and operations. That is why we start with a conversation, not a catalogue.
You Would Not Tell Your Doctor What Surgery You Need
Imagine walking into a cardiac specialist and saying: "I've done some research and I don't think I need an ECG. What's your cheapest option for the chest pain?"
No reasonable person would do this. When the stakes are high, you defer to the expert. You describe your symptoms, you trust the diagnosis, and you follow the treatment plan - because the alternative is much worse.
IT is the backbone of your business. Your data, your communications, your operations, your client relationships - all run through your technology stack. Deciding yourself which security tools you need, which monitoring to skip, and which advice to ignore is the IT equivalent of self-diagnosing a serious condition and refusing the medication.
We are not doctors. But the principle is the same. The clients we work with best are those who invest in IT properly, listen to expert advice, and trust the people they have engaged to manage the environment. Not those who want the cheapest option and override every recommendation.
You have symptoms
Your IT is slow, things break, staff are frustrated, you had a "near miss" with a phishing email last month.
You see a specialist
You engage a managed IT provider. They assess your environment, diagnose the risks, and recommend a treatment plan.
You follow the advice
You implement MFA. You deploy EDR. You train your staff. You let the experts manage the environment they have diagnosed.
You stay healthy
Quarterly reviews. Proactive monitoring. Technology evolves with your business. No surprises. No expensive emergencies.
We are selective about who we work with. Our ideal client understands that IT is an investment, not a cost - and is willing to follow the advice of the experts they have chosen to trust.
What Cheap IT Leaves Out
Every item on the right is something a cheap provider either does not include, bills separately, or simply does not do. Each one represents a gap in your protection.
"Technology is not a department. It is the nervous system of your entire business."
Technology Is Not Just Your IT — It Is Every Part of Your Business
When people think about IT, they picture a helpdesk and a few laptops. But strip away everything that technology touches and ask yourself what is left.
Your email is how you win clients and communicate with them every day. Your website is how prospects find you and decide whether to trust you before they ever pick up the phone. Your internet connection is the pipe everything flows through. Your phone system is how clients reach you when they have a problem. Your software is how you invoice, manage jobs, store data, and run your business.
Without technology, your business does not slow down. It stops.
And yet businesses routinely spend more thought on what coffee machine goes in the kitchen than on the technology stack that runs every single operation. The moment it fails — email goes down, ransomware locks your files, the internet drops during a client demo — you feel exactly how much it matters.
That is why we built CX365. Not as a product catalogue. As a technology platform designed to make your business operate better, faster, and safer — and to grow with you.
"A good IT provider helps your business grow. A cheap IT provider just keeps the lights on."
— Peter Nelson
IT Support
Your helpdesk, your endpoints, your servers, your devices - the physical and digital machinery that keeps everyone working.
Email & Communication
Every client email, every internal conversation, every calendar invite. When email fails - or gets compromised - your business stops.
Website & Online Presence
Your storefront, your lead engine, your credibility. A slow or hacked website loses clients before they ever speak to you.
Internet Connectivity
Every cloud app, every video call, every file upload - all depend on reliable, fast internet sized to your team.
Software & Cloud
Your accounting platform, your CRM, your project tools, your file storage - every SaaS app your business runs on.
Phone & Communications
Client calls, internal calls, call recording for compliance, auto-attendants that make you look like a bigger business than you are.
Technology is not an expense. It is your business.
The businesses that treat technology as an investment — not a grudge purchase — operate faster, lose less to downtime, win more clients, and scale more easily. A cheap IT provider keeps the lights on. We build the platform your business runs on.
"We started with one user. By the time we had 15 staff, we had outgrown every piece of technology we had. A technology blueprint from day one changes everything."
The CX IT Cyber-First Blueprint
Every client we take on gets this security foundation. It is not optional. It is not an add-on. It is the minimum standard we hold ourselves to - and the minimum we expect our clients to invest in.
EDR on every device
SentinelOne or equivalent endpoint detection and response - not basic antivirus.
MFA enforced everywhere
Multi-factor authentication on Microsoft 365, remote access, admin accounts, and all cloud services.
Email security & anti-phishing
Defender for Business or equivalent. DMARC, DKIM, SPF configured. Phishing simulation training.
Managed firewall
Sophos XGS managed firewall at every site. Next-gen threat detection, content filtering, VPN.
Security awareness training
Staff are the biggest risk. Quarterly training and simulated phishing campaigns included.
Documented security policies
Acceptable use, password, BYOD, and incident response policies. Required by cyber insurers.
A provider that allows clients to opt out of any of these items is accepting the liability on your behalf without the coverage. We do not work that way.
IT Support + Cyber Security. Combined.
Our pricing is simple: IT Support + Cyber Security per user per month. Both components are required — one without the other is not a complete managed IT service. Microsoft 365 Business Premium licensing and cloud backup are included in every Cyber plan.
Important: Many IT providers exclude Microsoft 365 licensing from their pricing.
A quote of $80/user/month sounds better than $200/user/month — until you add $25-35/user/month for M365 licensing on top. Our Cyber plans include Business Premium licensing and cloud backup. Always compare apples with apples.

Internet & Phone — Priced to Scale With You
Most IT providers have nothing to do with your internet or phones. We do — and we price them the same way: per user. Because more users means more bandwidth, more SIP channels, and more features. Your tech scales as your team grows.
Business Internet
More users means more bandwidth demand. We size your connection to your headcount - not a flat 100Mbps shared across 40 staff. Includes managed router, failover options, and ISP liaison.
- Business-grade NBN / Ethernet
- Sized to your user count
- Managed router & failover
- ISP liaison included
Business Phone System
More users means more SIP channels, call queues, and features. Your phone system scales with your team - no ripping it out when you hire staff number 11.
- 3CX VoIP phone system
- SIP channels scaled to users
- Call recording & reporting
- Mobile & desktop softphone
Example: 20-user business, full stack
That is $300/user/month for a complete, managed, cyber-secure, connected business — IT, email, security, internet, phones, and licensing included.
On-Site, After-Hours & Site Fees
Not everything needs to be in a monthly plan. These rates apply to work that falls outside your standard managed service — priced transparently so there are never any surprises.
For ad-hoc work that requires a physical presence — adding devices to the network, desk moves, hardware installs, cabling. Not your internet dropping out or a switch failure (those are covered under your plan). This is hands-on work scoped and scheduled with you.
Support outside standard business hours (9am–5.30pm AEST). Priced per incident, not per month — because not every business needs round-the-clock coverage. If your operations require it consistently, we can discuss a structured after-hours arrangement.
Covers the physical infrastructure at each of your business locations — internet monitoring, network monitoring, Wi-Fi management, and printer management. One flat fee per site, regardless of how many devices are on it.
All rates exclude GST. On-site work is scoped and approved before any work begins. After-hours support is logged as a single incident regardless of duration (subject to reasonable use). Site Location Fee applies per physical business location.
Your Business Will Outgrow Cheap Technology. Faster Than You Think.
We see it constantly. A business starts with one or two staff. They grab the cheapest internet plan, set up a shared email address, and buy whatever laptop is on special. It works. Mostly.
Then they hire. Five staff. Ten. Fifteen. The internet is constantly dropping out because 100Mbps was sized for three people. The phone number is a personal mobile. Email is a Gmail account. The "server" is a shared drive that nobody has backed up in six months.
They have outgrown their technology — but their technology has not grown with them.
The cost of rebuilding a tech stack mid-growth — migrating email, porting numbers, replacing hardware, training staff on new systems — is always higher than building it right in the first place.
Start with a Technology Blueprint
From day one, your technology is designed to scale. Per-user pricing on IT, Cyber, Internet and Phones means everything grows with your headcount — no ripping out and replacing.
Add users, not headaches
Hire a new staff member? We provision their device, account, email, phone extension, and security profile. One process. One call. Done.
Quarterly reviews keep you ahead
Every quarter we review your environment and roadmap. Technology advice aligned to where your business is going — not where it was 12 months ago.
Your competitors are doing this
The businesses in your market who invest in their technology are faster, more secure, and more professional. The ones who don't are one incident away from a serious problem.
We only work with businesses ready to invest in technology as a growth asset — not a grudge purchase. If that is you, we should talk.
If you see any of these in a proposal, ask the hard questions before you sign.
Red Flags in IT Proposals
These are things we see in competitor proposals regularly. Each one should prompt serious questions before you sign anything.
""Unlimited support" for $30/user/month"
What it actually means: Either no one is actually monitoring anything, or labour is billed separately and the "unlimited" refers to ticket logging only. When you call, you pay.
"No mention of cybersecurity"
What it actually means: Any IT provider that does not lead with security is selling you a managed helpdesk, not managed IT. In 2025, these are not the same thing.
"Month-to-month with no onboarding process"
What it actually means: If a provider does not invest in understanding your environment before they start, they cannot support it properly. Good onboarding takes 2-4 weeks.
"Overseas helpdesk for "24/7 support""
What it actually means: Tier-1 offshore agents reading scripts cannot resolve complex issues. Your tickets get escalated to someone in Australia anyway - hours later.
""We support all businesses of all sizes""
What it actually means: Providers without a defined target market are generalising. Specialised providers who know your industry, size, and compliance environment produce better outcomes.
"No defined response time in the contract"
What it actually means: If response time is not in writing, it does not exist. A provider who cannot commit to a response SLA does not have the capacity to deliver one.
What Does Quality Managed IT Actually Cost?
We don't hide our pricing. Select your plan, adjust for your team size, and see exactly what quality managed IT costs. These are estimates - your final proposal follows a Technology Roadmap session tailored to your environment.
Are there cheaper IT companies? Absolutely. Do they compare to what we deliver? Probably not. We don't compete on price - we compete on the quality of service your business actually needs. These estimates are indicative - your final proposal follows a Technology Roadmap session tailored to your environment.
EX GST
Final pricing follows a Technology Roadmap session. This is what quality IT costs.
We Want Clients Who Invest, Listen, and Get It.
We are selective — not because we are difficult, but because the best outcomes happen when both sides are aligned. We bring the expertise, the tools, and the strategy. You bring the trust, the engagement, and the willingness to invest in doing it right.
That combination is where the real value happens. And it is why the clients who thrive with us are the ones who understand that technology is not just a line item — it is the foundation their business runs on.
-
They understand technology is their business
Not just a tool they use. Without it, their operations fail, their clients suffer, and their growth stalls. Clients who genuinely get this invest accordingly — and see the returns.
-
They listen to expert advice and act on it
You hired us because we know what works. When we recommend something, it is because we have seen what happens when it is not in place. Clients who trust the process stay secure, avoid incidents, and grow faster.
-
They do not override the security standard
If a client insists on skipping MFA to save $10/month, they carry the risk of every account that gets compromised as a result. We will not be party to that. Our standards are non-negotiable because your security matters.
-
They engage with quarterly reviews
Business reviews are where we plan, align, and improve. Clients who show up and engage get a technology environment that evolves with their goals.
