CX IT Services was co-founded in 2019 by Peter Nelson and James Gatward - two specialists who shared a single belief: Melbourne businesses deserved better than the transactional, break-fix IT experience most providers were delivering.
Together they built CX from the ground up - the name a deliberate nod to Customer Experience, the principle that every touchpoint with your IT provider should feel seamless, personal, and premium. From the first call to daily helpdesk support, the goal was always a red carpet experience.
As the business grew, so did clarity about where each founder's expertise created the most value. Peter focused entirely on what he does best: IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, business phones, and internet. James channelled his deep background in WordPress, SEO, and marketing automation into Urban Digital Co - the digital agency that handles website design, local SEO, and lead generation for CX IT clients.
Today the two businesses operate as close partners. Clients get a single, trusted relationship that covers every layer of their technology stack - from the server room to the search engine. It is not one company trying to do everything. It is two specialists doing what they do best, together.
